March in Duluth, you never know what you are going to get. Mother Nature was watching over Tanya and Curt though and dumped big snow the day before their engagement session. Honestly, I could have just wandered around with them on their beautiful property the entire time. Everything was just so pretty.
One of the really cool things about this session is that I’ve known Tanya forever. She was still in high school when we met. It’s so fun to see all the pieces of her life fall into place. I’ve been asking her on a fairly regular basis if Curt proposed yet. Then one day, out of nowhere, she stuck her hand out in front of me. I did a little scream, ‘yay! finally!’ and a quick hug. A few days later, she asked me to do their engagements. I feel so lucky for that. She wanted a snowy engagement shoot prior to their summer wedding, she got it.
Tanya and Curt met back in their dirt biking days, when they were both still kids. They have been together six years! They are super cute together. Their relationship seems laid back , easy and fun. I see great stuff ahead for this awesome couple.
Thank you both for letting me part of this special time in your lives. I hope you love and cherish the memories we captured today for years to come.
